A robust and functional lighting fixture, known for its utilitarian aesthetic, durable materials, and iconic enamel-coated metal shades. The shape of the enamel shade allows light to funnel down, providing a direct source of illumination, as well as diffusing light through the top of the shade. The chocolate brown enamel finish provides a hard, glossy, and smooth surface that enhances durability and makes the pendant resistant to rust, heat, and moisture. Typically, the enamel coating is a vitreous, glossy finish applied to a metal shade. Given its hardworking, industrial past, there is some mottling on the surface of the enamel which undoubtedly adds to its story.
